Your books remind me of the works of Ian Fleming. Only two problems I have are keeping track of the names sometimes, and that Wet wax available for my Kindle but not for the Cloud reader. That meant no reading at work.

    • Simon Royle says:

Thank you, Bob. I think I’ve read all of Ian Flemming’s novels. Also read an autobiography about him which was excellent: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ian-Fleming-Andrew-Lycett/dp/1857997832 – I think Flemming’s writing has a lot more depth that most people realize – an extraordinary man and a great writer – to be compared to him is a real honor; thank you.

Sorry about the cloud reader. I thought it was available on everything…. I’ll have to check that out. A couple of people have mentioned the names issue and I hear you – not sure what I can do about it though – they are who they are and tough to change it – my dad mentioned the same thing 🙂

Just finished Bangkok Burn. Great book. Had trouble putting it down. Been to Bangkok many times so could imagine some of the scenes and settings. Looking forward to reading Bangkok Wet. Thanks for a great read.

I read my first book ” Bangkok Burn” wow I love it, had great difficulty putting it down, hadn’t realised it was almost 4 am, then I got ” Bangkok wet ” I didn’t want to finish it so very good, I really hope we get more of chance and chais and he is not really killed off, loved the way the reader was bought into the story by explaining the meanings, my normal reads are world war 2 and espionage, so not my normal read , but I am hungry for more from you ……..your books are definitely worth a second read, many thanks for the two ” Bangkok ” books more please, and thank you again ………………… Linda

      Hi Linda,

Aunt Dao’s dreams never lie. Have another read of when Chance returns from Australia and you’ll understand about the next book :). Thanks for the nice words, really appreciated, and thanks for signing up, I’ll be sure to let you know when the next one is out.

Enjoyed both “Burn” and couldn’t wait to read “Wet.” Both were hard to put down. Since I’ve been to Bangkok many times, your vivid writing style brings the city and Thai culture to life in a captivating way. Keep them coming! Looking forward to the next one – I hope soon!!!

  6. Michael Triantos says:

Picked up Bangkok Burn only because I have been married to a wonderful Thai woman for 2 years and like to read fiction that exposes me to Thai culture, Thai geography and Thai language. WOW!!! Was not expecting this level of excitement. Both the writing style and the story content really pulled me in. Have already recommended you to my reading buddies. We enjoy Lee Child, Barry Eisler, John Burdett, Michael Connolly and Robert Crais. After reading Bangkok Wet, I can firmly state that you are right in that company for us. Can’t wait for the next entry in the series.
